Animated film, which is a formal experiment: a movable collage of paper cutouts, in which geometric figures are accompanied by characters cut from old newspapers. Film brought its creators international publicity. The film was awarded at the MFF in Venice with the Golden Lion for an experimental film in 1957, the Golden Ducatus at the MFF in Mannheim in 1958 and the Warsaw Mermaid (with the SDP Film Criticism Club Award) in 1958.
