The film about life and works by Zbigniew Beksiński is divided into three parts. The director tells the history of the famous Polish artist, showing his family photos from the youngest years. Narrator of the film notices that Zbigniew Beksiński as a child waited for the upcoming war as for an adventure. Horrors of the war had to leave their mark on the young boy. In the second part of the film narration is created by using camera rides on paintings by Zbigniew Beksiński, fragmenting the pictures. At the last part of the film paintings by Zbigniew Beksiński are shown in their original scale.
