Frame

FRAME underscores the disaccord between filmic and real perception: FRAME shows a single shot of a framed window, through which the camera overlooks an urban street scene. A man, vaguely recognisable, measures the length of the frame with a short ruler. The frame turns out not to be the perfect rectangle which the human eye might have wanted to perceive. The assumed depth of the space is merely a distorted plain.
